How we look after the details you give us, and what your rights are.
This website is run by O&S Building Services Ltd, registered in England and Wales with company number 11150195. Our address is Unit Workshop, Downash, Hailsham, East Sussex, BN27 2RP. If you have any question about this policy or about the information we hold, email info@osbuilding.co.uk or call 01323 382155.
If you send us an enquiry through the form on this site, we receive the details you enter: your name, your phone number, your email address if you give it, and whatever you tell us about the job. If you call or email us we keep a record of that conversation so we can follow it up.
We do not collect payment details through this website.
We use the details you give us to reply to your enquiry, to arrange a visit, to prepare an estimate and, if you go ahead, to carry out the work and keep in touch about it. The lawful basis for this is that it is necessary in order to take the steps you have asked for before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract once agreed.
We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone else for marketing.
Enquiries that do not go ahead are kept for up to twelve months in case you come back to us, then deleted. Records of work we have carried out are kept for six years after the job, because we may need them for guarantee claims, insurance or tax purposes.
To keep the form free of spam, Cloudflare checks that each enquiry is sent by a person and not an automated program, and the form records the internet address an enquiry came from, the time it was sent and the type of browser used. Enquiries are sent to us by our website company, Top Rank Solutions, which keeps a copy of each one for up to 90 days so it can check the form is working, and a short record of each (your details, the start of your message, your internet address and browser) to spot spam. It handles them only on our instructions.
This site uses a small number of cookies so that the pages work properly. It also uses Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages people read. Google Analytics sets cookies whose names begin with _ga, which last up to two years and identify your browser but not you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can block cookies in your browser settings without affecting the site.
You have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, and to have it deleted if we no longer need it. You can also object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it, and you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk if you think we have handled your data badly. To exercise any of these rights, email info@osbuilding.co.uk.
If we change this policy, the new version will be published on this page. This version was published in October 2026.
