O&S Building Services is a family run firm based in Polegate, just outside Eastbourne, with more than three decades of combined experience across the team. We carry out general building work for homeowners, landlords and businesses right across East Sussex, and because we have qualified electricians in the same firm, any wiring that comes with the job is handled by our own people.
Every job starts with a free visit and a written estimate. There is no charge for coming out and no obligation once we have.

Yes. A lot of our work is smaller jobs, from a single wall or lintel to a chimney rebuild or a run of brickwork. If it is part of a building, we will look at it.
Where a job needs it, yes. We arrange the notification and the inspections so the work is signed off properly, and we can work alongside your architect or structural engineer where drawings are involved.
Our workmanship is covered by a 12 month guarantee, and the materials we use come with full manufacturer warranties which we will always honour if there is a problem. We also carry appropriate levels of liability insurance.
It depends on the size of the job and what we have booked in. After the first visit we will give you an honest date rather than a hopeful one.
Yes. A garden wall, a new opening between two rooms, a repointing job or a porch are all work we do, usually slotted in between larger projects. Call and describe it and we will tell you straight away whether it is one for us.
Yes. We are a small family run team and the people who start your job are the people who finish it. You will not be handed to a different crew halfway through.
